7th International Symposium on Deformation Characteristics of Geomaterials IS-Glasgow 2019

The 7th International Symposium on Deformation Characteristics of Geomaterials (IS-Glasgow 2018) will be held in Glasgow on 26 to 28 June 2019.

ISSMGE Technical Committee TC101 Laboratory Stress Strain Strength Testing of Geomaterials is hosting the 7th International Symposium on Deformation Characteristics of Geomaterials (IS-Glasgow 2019) in Glasgow in June 2019.

The Symposium is co-organised by the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and the University of Bristol. Building on the tradition of previous Symposia from Sapporo in 1994 to Buenos Aires in 2015, IS-Glasgow 2019 will bring together researchers and practitioners to explore new directions in geomaterial testing.

• Advanced laboratory testing of geomaterials in saturated and unsaturated states.
• Application of advanced laboratory testing in research, in situ, and ground modelling.
• Application of advanced testing to practical geotechnical engineering.
