Imperial College London is holding a half day seminar on the subject of Engineering Resilient Infrastructure, held at the Skempton Building, Imperial College London and chaired by Professor David Potts.
Engineering resilient infrastructure is critical for every aspect of modern society; in an ever increasing connected world. Speakers from various universities will cover recent academic developments with direct relevance to a wide range of engineering structures including offshore pipelines, quay walls, motorway bridges, cut slopes and embankments. The seminar will conclude with a presentation from industry on the UK’s High Speed 2 rail link connecting London with major cities in the North of England.
The seminar will run from 1:00-4:30pm on the 20th March 2019, in advance of the Rankine lecture at 5:30pm.
Registration is not required and all are welcome to attend.
The event will be divided into 2 sessions with a 30 minute coffee break between sessions.
