(Download the flyer: BGA ECM flyer February event)

Mike Rogers – (Professional Development Manager, ICE)

David Beadman – (Director, Byrne Looby Partners)

The BGA are pleased to invite you to the first ECG event of 2015. The event will discuss the new changes to Initial Professional Development and provide guidance for geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists on how to approach the professional review. Guidance from Mike and David, both of whom are current Reviewers, will be given on how to demonstrate competence in the attributes. Mike, an engineering geologist by training will also highlight the benefits and routes to ICE membership for engineering geologists.

There will be a short mock review including a presentation and question session to demonstrate possible questions and how responses should be approached. This will be followed by a Q & A session with Mike, David and a number of recent successful candidates being available to answer specific questions.

Thanks are extended to WSP for hosting the event.

When: Monday 9th February 2015

Where: WSP House, 70 Chancery Lane, London WC2A 1AF
