Call for Abstracts for 20th International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, Sydney 2021
Update - Deadline extended to 31 May 2020
The Call for Abstracts for the 20 ICSMGE is open with a deadline of Thursday, 30 April 2020. Abstracts should be submitted via the abstract submission portal on the conference website, which can be accessed here.
If the abstract is accepted, authors will be invited to submit a full paper. Papers may be between 4 and 6 pages in length. The paper template will be made available in due course.
Submission Guidelines
- Abstracts must be written in English or in French.
- Abstract submissions must include abstract title, author(s)’ name(s), affiliations, addresses and contact numbers, and the email address of the corresponding author.
- Abstract body (including references) should be in text only and should not exceed 250 words.
- All abstracts should clearly state: Objectives, Methods and Conclusions.
- Abstracts will be required to be associated with one, or up to three, of the ISSMGE’s Technical Committees (TCs). Please note that author(s) do not necessarily need to be members of TCs but the topic of the paper needs to align with at least one ISSMGE TC. A list of TCs can be viewed here.
- Abstracts must be received by 30 April 2020. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
