Ground Engineering’s December 2022 issue is available online
Online access to Ground Engineering (GE) is included in BGA subscriptions.
BGA members and other subscribers to GE can access page-turning digital versions of the print issue, and the November issue has just been added to the GE website.
The December 2022 issue of Ground Engineering features an interview with Glossop Medal Lecturer John Harrison, as well as reports on the foundation grouting underway on the Chimney Hollow Reservoir dam in Colorado, and the complex D-wall works at HS2’s North Action site. It also has reports on ground freezing as a ground improvement technique, and how a better understanding of construction history can help today’s earthworks challenges.
On top of this, this month’s magazine includes a round table discussion on digitalisation and innovation in ground engineering, and a technical paper on testing of an existing dock wall at Wellington Dock in Dover Harbour.
In addition, this edition features an Engineering Insight Q&A with Knight Piésold senior geotechnical engineer Martin Griffin, as well as the latest news and opinion.
