Consultation on Geological Screening

The government is consulting on their proposed approach to geological screening for nuclear waste disposal. National geological screening is an exercise to bring together existing information about UK geology that is relevant to the long-term safety of a geological disposal facility (GDF) and make it available in an accessible form. It is not intended to be able to definitively rule all areas as either suitable or unsuitable.
