Geo-Resilience 2023 is the third in a series of biennial conferences organised by the British Geotechnical Association (BGA). It will take place in Cardiff on 28-29 March 2023.
Awards Presented at BGA Annual General Meeting June 2022
The BGA holds an Annual Poster competition for young geotechnical professionals under the age of 33. This year the competition was won by Wei Wang of the University of Dundee.
The British Geotechnical Association (BGA) is pleased to announce that the 2021 BGA Medal has been awarded to the paper “Evolution of surface roughness of single sand grains with normal loading” by Ting Yao, Beatrice Baudet, Sergio Lourenço of Chinese Academy of Sciences, University College London and The University of Hong Kong
The BGA is pleased to announce that Ana Pirrone of Imperial College is the winner of the 2021 BGA Masters prize for her entry “Geotechnical data integration in the calibration of constitutive models using machine learning and metaheuristics”.
